Founded in 1976 by David and Martha Wilson, David Wilson Men's Shop quickly established itself as a leader in mens fashion. Consistently voted "Best of South Jersey", this updated traditional store continues to be a bastion of good taste and a refuge for those looking for better quality clothing and an enduring sense of style.

In 1999 a longtime idea became reality when the Salon at David Wilson's opened within the mens shop. Recognizing that most men are too busy to sit in a barbershop and wait their turn and are not entirely comfortable in a women's salon, Wilson combined the best of both worlds — the convenience of haircuts by appointment and the comfort and privacy of a masculine environment.
